As you know last week was an extremely confronting and most upsetting time for those in North Queensland,
Brisbane and other flood affected towns.
People trapped, Injured, Missing and some even lost their lives. Overall it was such a powerfully negative event to have occurred, but luckily for the surfers and those fortunate enough to take the time to watch the cyclonic east swell that was on it's way!.
Even the sun decided to make an appearance, crisping up almost everyone. The water was dirty, brown and potentially sickening with huge logs and a strong current sweep that I hadn't ever encountered before. Constantly swimming to get into the right spot for the photo
